Portuguese Red Cross 1916 Cross of the Geneva Convention, with “PORTUGUESE COMMISSION OF PRISONERS OF WAR” overprint. Sheets nº 12 and 16 of the collection. Sheet 12 (image below) consisting of an introduction to the sheet printed with “type” (type 2) instead of “cliché” (type 1). 2 drawings by Eduardo Silva + fragment of letter sent by Afonso de Ornellas (president of the PRC) which mentions the existence of the entire sheet with the printing error. Highlight is page 16 (image above) consisting of a whole sheet, with 4 edges of the stamp Mf#CVP2 (“type” – type 2), pink and black, 11 ¾ perforation.
